Last week a friend gave me a beautiful card with a woodcut bird on it by the artist Agnes Miller Parker. I have always loved the definitive lines of woodcut prints, and the care involved in carving the blocks. I have a serious soft spot for woodcuts. That one of the trees is calling to me. I might be more likely to indulge if I didn't already feel guilty about my stash of lovely woodcuts waiting to be framed and hung.
