Antony Crolla photography - and Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone out there who is celebrating it today. I do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but I have lots to be thankful for, nonetheless. Today is not a day to whinge about the burglary next door, the cold water in my shower, my moth-eaten winter coat or even the extortionate (and totally ridiculous) quote I have had to repair my neighbour's ceiling.

It is cold outside, and I am very thankful just to have a roof over my head. Like it says in the book Velvet Elvis; “God, I can’t believe I get to live this life.”

I have discovered these beautiful photographs by photographer Antony Crolla. I especially love the clock at the top, and the light in the bottom photo.

what a great quote from the book - would that we all could say that from time to time. I especially love the first shot.
