Tea of the week: tea jars on sill

Tea jars on sill by Julia Stotz. Not sure I would go to this much effort for styling purposes - but, don't they look so pretty?

Hurrah! glad you are back, hope your break was lovely.

The tea in jars does look good, but i dont get the point of it, other than to look pretty on the window sill... is there one?

They are pretty. I would go arrange them by shade - light to dark, but that's just me.
What is sun tea?

Hannah - don't think there is one, but she's a photographer and she has had a 'tea' series - so I'm sure it's only for artistic reasons. I don't know what sun tea is either!

this is a gorgeous image -- worth the work of styling, i think!

don't you think it's lovely to see the colour of the tea? It does look pretty, but maybe putting it in a jam jar in the light can really say a lot about the flavour and depth of the tea...?

Gorgeous! My aunt makes pomegranate jam. It is a daunting process, but I love the color, old-fashioned glasses, and taste.

You have a great blog. I am so glad I found it!

Hi! Thanks for posting my image. The teas were all sun brewed, but then kept in the jars for atheistic reasons. I just love all the colors that tea can create, and mason jars have classic look. It makes styling easy. Tea's just so wonderful.
