you're right, the composition and the desk are both lovely. i agree with you about black and white, i find it a bit harsh too.
i'm constantly amazed at how people have such a multitude of perspectives on things though, and come up with spaces that would never occur to me in a million years!
Just lovely to have a space all of one's own! x
That is lovely, so much personality despite lack of colour.
Like you, I need colour and warmth in a room though.
