, the calligrapher, Melodies Graphiques, whose walls are adorned with letters from all over the world. I bought some pretty notecards, even though I'm never going to run out of stationery for the rest of my life...
On this trip, I stayed in a fancy pants hotel, which I can never afford again - does anyone have suggestions of somewhere inexpensive but nice to stay, especially if travelling alone? I hope to return to Paris in January for Maison & Objet.

beautiful shots!! what fun, your going back!! I would suggest trading a place or renting like Rhianne suggests.
the lace and trimmings are my new fancy and I would have gone crazy. I hear you on the stationary part, I love stationary but I will never ever run out!!

I'm dashing out the door now...hoping that our local patisserie has something remotely as tasty, praying that the local thrift store can deliver...wishing that "my trip to Paris" will move (soon) from the world of make believe into that of reality. Thank you for sharing XX

i would like to come back to Paris too, so much to see and do, i find the city relaxing and very inspiring and hopefully will visit the fair too!!
Mmmm, raclette. I am a firm believer in the more you go to Paris, the more you love it, because the stress of mustseemustdoeverything begins to fade, and you get to discover the smaller, less famous spots. Haven't yet been with Pia's book in tow though, as only got it last Christmas...*heads over to Eurostar website for research purposes only*
that trimming is beautiful. i love the one with the circles. i would have a hard time walking away from that stand!

Ah me and my sis were just about to go to Paris but she's just got a job so that's on hold for a while. Will need to make a note of your suggestions for later! (Lovely pics too!)
