Embroidered cotton envelopes

...I like from Cologne & Cotton {£10.95}, although any ideas what they are for?

{PS, also like their candy-striped bedlinen.}
{PPS, come back tomorrow for an exciting announcement.}

So pretty.

You could fill them with lavender or other dried flowers and put them in your draws?

Maybe linen, underwear or towel draws?

These are extremely cute!
I would encourage my partner to use them and hide secret messages under my pillow for me to discover.

Oh so beautiful! They could be (very) expensive wedding invite envelopes? Or for keeping old love letters in? (What am I like?!)

I have some and used them for cutlery and napkins when I was in hospital. Not sure that's what they are for but I was quite chic in hospital :)

Those are very lovely. i don't know what others would use them for but if I have a budget I'll certainly use them for my wedding invitations. I'm sure my guests will love it as I do.

So pretty - we used to have linen envelopes like these to put our nightdresses in for under our pillows when I was little.

I had a padded version of those when I was little. Whenever I lost a tooth I would put it inside and post it to the tooth fairy!

These are gorgeous! They remind me of the pyjama cases my Nanny used to have, and she also had little ones she used to put tissues in with olbas oil or vicks on if we had colds. They would be very pretty for wedding invitations...though maybe only for extra spacial guests! xxx

If you were either very rich or having a very small wedding, they would be beautiful for wedding invitations!

Also, the 2nd wedding anniversary is cotton - they would be lovely for an anniversary card!

In my family we call them "porte-serviettes" (I'm french), and they were for storing your fabric napkin so it didn't get confused with somebody's else... I have some with names on them.
