British Blogs

Lilac and Lily is the blog of Warwickshire-based florist Helen, who shares her own work as well as inspiring finds, all of which are just my style. Photos: Lilac and Lily.
Emily Forgot is written by a graphic designer with edgy taste in product design {well, perhaps just edgier than mine} - and has her own shop selling her prints, too. Above are a perpetual calendar by Enzo Mari and teddy bear rug by Agustina Woodgate.

I have mentioned Pacha Design several times before, but I do love their blog and its aesthetic which is so consistent with the style and ethos of their own sustainable furniture range. I especially love their own nature photographs, such as those above. Look for their collections series from last year. Photos: Pacha Design.

I have lost the linky lists on my previous posts, so if you have a British blog, or have one to recommend, please leave the address in the comments and perhaps a brief description of what it's about and where you live.

My definition of British is either a) based in Britain or b) being a British expat elsewhere. I look forward to making some new discoveries - I hope you will too! Previous suggestions are here: 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.

Hi BPC! How do you link the actual URL in your comment?

Mine is very much in the fledgling stage as I'm a blogging newbie and probably isn't of interest unless you like vintage/antique things or crockery but it's most definitely a British blog through and through :-)

Thanks for this post! I was planning on doing a similar post soon, as I haven't been able to find many British blogs, despite many internet searches. I read so many American blogs, which are great, but most of the products and companies that they feature are difficult to come by. It's lovely to read Brisith blogs where I can completely identify with the cultural references, and recognise the shops that are mentioned! I'm based in Cardiff and write about my house and my love for interiors, so my blog is definitely British too. Will have fun reading through the blogs people have mentioned in their responses. Thank you for setting the ball rolling!

Hi Lynne, This makes me sound like a geek but...it's a bit of HTML code that looks like this:

{insert what you want it say in the comment box here}

Just cut and paste it into a comment box. Take out the funny brackets and put in the web address in the first big and text in the secong bit. If you want to try it by leaving a link to Papermash/Tea for Joy in a comment on my blog feel free and I'll delete it afterwards if you'd like me to. Hope that makes sense!

HI, Like so many of you posting I have a passion for interesting vintage retro bits and pieces and peachy pieces. I started a blog on the suggestion of my friend Liisa who said that 'what with all your interests in sewing, vintage clothes, textiles and colourful things why don't you start a blog Betty Zee?"... and so I did. I have everything from what I wear everyday, to textiles, linens, vintage quilts, crockery and crafting.... in fact anything that catches my eye in charity shops, antique emporiums and boots sales and escapes the clutches of my sewing machine.... bric-a-bracbanter.blogspot.com pop over for a cuppa! totally British and colourful, I hope you'll find!!!

I love finding new British blogs to help me get to know this new country, both foreign and surprisingly familiar at the same time... I am a French-Canadian who has been living in London for just over six months now; my blog is mostly about photography and my life here, and when I have time I post about my creations and what inspires me as well. Hope you like it, I do love yours!
