It's time again for daffodil season. I can't tell you how much these little yellow blooms lift my spirits, and as they are grown in the UK and are inexpensive, I don't feel any guilt at indulging in this small pleasure. I may have to instigate a weekly daffodil feature.
No Friday faves today, but I'll leave you with a blog I discovered and liked today - the French blog of Eleanore Bridge (which also has an English translation.) Have a great weekend, I'm going to a Come Dine with Me style dinner this evening, and I'm off to buy some daffodils to bring as a gift!

Chelsea at {frolic!} just posted daffodils, too. I can't help but smile when I see them. =)
Daffodils are a joy to behold! I remember when I lived in the UK, I would always grab a bunch while standing in the queue at M&S!
You would be my perfect dinner guest with a bunch of jolly daffodils as a hostess gift!
If you pop over to my blog today you will see I too couldn't resist the daffodils and at that price, like you say, I can't say no either!
xx
sooo beautiful! I cannot wait for spring! Have a lovely weekend!
I'd love to hear about your Come Dine With Me dinner... and I agree, you can't have too many daffs.
so cute! i love how flowers totally have the ability to lift our spirits! love the photos!
I love your daffys, Lynne!! THanks for the links. Have a fantastic weekend!!
I love daffodils. You found some lovely photos of them. What is a "come dine with me" dinner?
i recently came out of M&S with more spring flowers than food....i couldn't resist the hyacinths, and mini daffodils (they have a different name, but i always forget what they are called)...they all bloomed within a day of being home. Oh simple pleasures!
Also, saw you in the guardian supplement this morning, well done!
Emily - I do exactly the same! Grace, Come Dine With Me is a British tv show where you go to a stranger's house for dinner. Alex, it was organised by my church and it was all delicious - a stew thing with venison sausages and a lemon and lime tart. Cassie - what's your blog address? Your profile isn't enabled so I couldn't click through...
I love daffodils too!
saw you in the guardian magazine yesterday :D
well done!
xx

Congratulations on being featured in today's Guardians Best Interiors Blogs
xx
A sea of golden crocuses are blooming alongside the daffodils in the park opposite my house and it makes me so happy,
think you would love this post if you haven't already seen it.
