Tom Butcher Ceramics

Tom Butcher Ceramics is based in a blissful setting in Scotland, which can only inspire his simple, rustic tableware. I bought the whisky tumblers (top photo) for a male friend at Christmas and they were very well received. Tom is exhibiting in London soon, at the upcoming Country Living Fair. Has anyone been? Would you recommend going?

Those are just beautiful. I love things that are all about utility and have a kind of austerity about them - no frills or fancy stuff, just wonderful form and function. Perfection.

I'm afraid I've not been to the fair before! I often find stuff like that a bit too 'perfect' for me - you know, selling this imaginary lifestyle that most of us can't even approach! That said I'm sure it's wonderful fantasizing :-)

So beautiful! I would love to add some of these pieces to my little Heath collection!
