Your style resolutions

Have you made any of your own style resolutions which you'd like to share? My own resolutions are simply to declutter (an ongoing theme, and an urgent priority in a flat with very little storage) and spend money on the basics before buying anything new. For example, I need to prioritise having my windows cleaned (never cleaned in the three years in this flat and they are filthy), damp proofing an area of damp in the kitchen and, fingers crossed, have a professional painter paint the hallway, skirting boards, and outside windows. These are not my favourite things to spend money on, but I've been ignoring them for quite a while and instead have spent my money buying Etsy items on a whim. Design blogs, you need to be held accountable!
