A London bicycle

This guy made his girlfriend Leonie a bike, using spare parts and by having the frame professionally sprayed (in pistachio! - the perfect bike colour.) She is one lucky lady, don't you agree?

Also, I'm taking part in the second installment of Layers of Meaning's Through Her Eyes series today - head over there if you would like to read a story from my childhood - and see my cute child photo.

My dad built me a bike out of many spare parts for Xmas one year. It was the best bike I have EVER owned. How can you beat a bike that's been made with love.

My dad sprayed some old bikes from our grandparents too! It's great to see them having a new life.

Oh so pretty! My bike isn't made from spare parts but it was hauled up and down hills to my house in bits and pieces and reconstructed , so I (who was working in the middle of town) wouldn't see it.

Pistacio is a pretty colour

That's a pretty good looking bike for being made of spare parts I would of thought it was brand new.
