Erin always has such a great mix of fashion and home interiors on her blog, and the perfect outfit for every occasion. I suspect she's always immaculately groomed in real life (I think Americans are always so much glossier that us Brits - see photo below as evidence) and has all her shoes lined up in her wardrobe in neat rows, coordinated by colour...am I right, Erin? Anyway, Apartment 34 is one of my absolute favourites, for total escapism to a world of glamour which I can only aspire to. Erin has great taste and I love her picks below - the hair accessory is fabulous, and I'd love to live in that loft apartment.
Thanks Erin!
Q. What was your favourite design find/achievement of 2008?
A. It's so difficult to choose just one design find in 2008 because I discovered so many last year. If I had to pick a few choice treasures they would have to be my birthday hair accessory from Oh My Deer, some fabulous finds from Seattle favorite Maison Luxe and exploring some of favorite online retailers such as Beklina.
Q. What are your style resolutions for 2009?

Q. What are your style resolutions for 2009?
A. Interior design/renovating:
Simplify, streamline, add only warmth and treasured things.
Invest in more original art.
Invest in more original art.
Change of the mood of rooms by changing accessories (a much smaller investment)
I'm adding new blogs to must read list almost daily but some of the latest to the rolls in include B-splendid, Delight by Design, The Lil Bee, The City Sage, Emma's Designblogg, and the perennial favorites - A Cup of Jo, Creature Comforts, and Coco+Kelley (it is written by my best friend afterall).
Try an offbeat paint color (like black).
Get rid of all carpeting!
Gifts/Wrapping: Give more and wrap better!
Shopping: Do as little of it as absolutely necessary and when possible buy things handmade, or made by people I know and if you're going to spend some $$, put in an investment piece that you'll love for years to come.
Q. Which style blog(s) will you be reading in 2009?
A. I am in love with the style blog world because I find consistent and extremely varied inspiration every day. Be it a new outfit, new book to read, new decorating idea or a new friend on the other side of the world, the evergrowing world of style bloggers is rockin'! I'm most attracted to blogs that provide the perfect mix of fresh ideas, fun finds, beautiful imagery and a little insight based on their approach to life and style.

Erin, thank you so much for mentioning me on your list! That was such a fun surprise...and, I am with you on choosing new paint colors...I say go for the black. It is so much fun!
P.S. I love your birthday accessory:)
Can I just copy all of what Lil Bee said? She stole my words! :-) Thank you so much for the mention Erin!
Lynne, thanks so much for the interview - it was actually much more difficult than I thought to hone in on my design philosophy for the new year! Ladies - you provide me with such fun everyday! Thanks to you for the consistent brilliance
Thank you Erin!
Thank you Erin for including me in your must-reads! The feeling is 100% mutual I assure you! Great style resolutions too--I might just have to come up north and 'borrow' that hair accessory ;)
Btw Lynne, you're almost right, my shoes are lined up but in still in their boxes rather than by color! Ridiculous - i know. My BF reminds me all the time :)
