I just bought these patterns from my local charity shop. Their dates range from 1975 to 1987, and some come from my favourite department store, Liberty. Why did I buy them? I have no idea. Do I have a sewing machine? No. Do I want to be able to sew? No (I took up my curtains, and it nearly sent me over the edge.) Do I want to take my fashion inspiration from 1970s and 1980s Vogue patterns? Not a chance.
Sometimes, like love, you just don't have an explanation.

I'm actually LOVING these! That Perry Ellis jacket is SO
Elizabeth and James...
Send them to me and I'll stich up a whole whack of 'em for everyone!
Though we'll skip the feathered mom haircuts, shall we?
oh yes, the stuff that jumps into your basket at thrift stores! I have a problem with picking up fabric remnants.
Yay! The comment thingy worked!
Guess what - I have signed up to a Clothesmaking course, starting in January! Fingers crossed I master the art of using a sewing machine - I can make you that dapper 70's outfit! Mel x
i love impulse buys that have no purpose. btw, these look ridiculous familiar...i think my mom had some of these back in the 80's!
