Tea of the week: a Papermash tea party

I'm excited to present, my first Papermash animation! I hope you will like it! It features many of my old favourites, striped paper straws, ABC cups and lots of washi tape!

Many thanks to the directors, Josh Hine and Jake Hopewell for embracing the feminine/vintage vibe {very impressed with Jake's paper flowers}, Ross Gilmartin for the music, and Hannah for the loan of props!

Fantastic, I love it! Especially the part where the straw sucks up the twine!

Most impressive! I hope all that lovely washi tape was recycled into something crafty afterwards ;)

That is absolutely brilliant. Must have taken them ages to do. The flowers, and the string, and the straws!!! love it.

This is so sweet and fun - I love the bit where the paper and twine turns into a string of bunting best.

What a wonderful little animation. It just reminded me that my friend bought me the ABC cups so I am definitely taking them on a picnic tomorrow!

Thanks everyone for your sweet comments! The guys worked really hard on it. And I agree with Will and Lisa-Marie, the music is pretty special; composed especially so I was very impressed!

Here, here, agree with all of the above! Time-lapse animation has such a magic feel; especially when paper cranes come to life.

This is a little explosion of sweetness, the pinwheels, the little birds and the writing with string, so good. And the bells in the music are the cherry on the top of that perfect looking cake.

Well done.
