I would love to have one of these wreaths, for a special party, a wedding or simply to add something 3D to an uninteresting wall (I'm running out of wall space for all of the art options I am coming up with.)

One of my favourite things to do on this blog is make a flippant comment like "I'm sure this would be easy to make yourself" when really my own handiwork is usually disastrous, and I can never get past the unending spring-cleaning which holds me back from sitting down and being creative.

Still, I think even I could do something like this? I'm thinking paper doilies, one of those paper punches in a precut shape, some of those butterfly pin things used in the bottom image and voila! What do you think? Can you think of any other good materials to use?

Very beautiful!!!! just what we want in Grey London a bit of Spring and color.
I like paper work.
Oh, how beautiful! Never thought I would want a paper wreath but that last one is just beautiful!
How about cookie cutters as stencils (for butterflies, for example) and stenciling them onto wrapping paper to cut out and assemble? Dover sells little books of stencils that might also work. (There's a Dover bookshop in the Seven Dials - I think on Mercer Street.)
Anne - love your suggestions!
These are lovely!
These are amazing! And I'm sure you could do something similar. I would probably rely on some sort of hole punch, rather than cutting all those things out by hand.
how pretty! i love the flower one!
Oh they are beautiful! What amazing work.
Ooh--I think this is a new phenomenon all together as I've never seen them before now either! what a lovely (more permanent) alternative to floral wreaths!
These are absolutely beautiful - I am totally in love with the butterfly wreath. Thanks for letting us all know about the fabulousness of spring paper wreaths. Lee :)
These are beautiful. I love that last one. If you make one - please show it to us. For the record I would never try to make one of these myself, it would look so preschool-ish.
Oh my gosh, I'm the exact same way about saying - "It seems like your could easily do this yourself." When really I know I couldn't. I'm not patient enough. But these are very pretty.
I, too, have the never ending cleaning/organizing problem...there are so many wonderful crafty things waiting for me, and yet I always have something to clean first! It's so frustrating.
Love the wreaths! The butterflies are beautiful!
