I've mentioned Hey, Homewrecker before, it's written by my cousin Linda, and is about her life in Belfast, and quite a lot about her cat... Linda comes from a family of four very talented sisters. She painted her family portrait above, and her sister Kathryn made the giant Rory McIlroy head from the St Patrick's Day parade. The crocheted stools are from a furniture pop-up shop in Belfast, Refound. She's very new to blogging, so needs some encouragement!
Peas and Needles is written by Lucy, an illustrator and graphic designer. It is one of my favourites because it has lovely photos and snippets of her life, but is very simple and inspiring. She's working on 52 creative projects for this year. I'm desperate to get my own Ikea greenhouse, like Lucy's above {although I've no idea what to grow inside such a thing.}
Sarah of Thimbles and Crumbles has just started posting again after a blogging hiatus, but I'm excited to follow her progress! She describes herself as a full-time mum and part-time maker and baker, and I've been reading through some of her older projects too {love this princess and the pea, and paper poppy.} Congratulation to Sarah on her latest project, too!
I think I lost all the links on my previous British blogs posts, so if you have a blog based in the UK, and would like to do so, please add your blog to the list below, so we can expand our little community!
