A Valentine Ball

I'm indifferent about St Valentine's Day; not outraged at the commercialism, expectant, despondent or any emotion different to any other day, except that it's sweet to see and try craft ideas such as these and these. However, I was excited to find this in my collection of ephemera. How many of these dances do you know? And my favourite part of the evening, apart from hilarious half hour? Hot soup for the road.

I thought Valentine's day was a only a few decades old.. hmm! I feel the same way about it, a great opportunity for inspirations and creations and nothing more!

I love that they've got the slow fox trot on the bill three times.

Oh how lovely! I want dancing and soup and a hilarious half hour.

Can you imaging how popular a club would be if they handed out soup at kicking out time? It would be called The Soup Kitchen. Or... Chowder.

I don't know any of them! I'm the worst partner ever when it comes to dancing. I pity the fool who tries to waltz with me.

This is fantastic. Every night out for me will feel lacking unless hot soup for the road is provided now!
