That happens to me too...or more embarrassingly I tell a story from the metro get it wrong and then people crrect me because everyone has read it and I scurry with a red face after being asking if they are sure a couple of times.

Love this! And ha, yes. I start or end a story with 'I read on twitter'.. and then tail off, embarrassed. ;p
Hear hear! Or I tell a highly amusing story to someone, then realise it was them who told me the story in the first place!
Uh...yes multiplied by a hundred. Happens to me all the time. Still at least we are switched on and taking note... yes?

Oh I love that! My ex colleague was the only one who got the bus in so she used to give us our daily dose of metro stories... I'm the 'so I read this on twitter' person! ;)
What a great idea! Must get one for my hubby as he bikes to work each day :)
