British designer: Mr Yen

Just a few examples of papercut work from the very talented Mr Yen, aka Jonathan Chapman, a recent graduate from the Leeds College of Art. He has a wide range of papercuts available from his online shop, which are reasonably priced {particularly love the feathers above, £25} and is available for commissions, too. His blog has brilliant finds, and I'm enjoying following how he is achieving his six month goals!

{PS: Winners from last week's competition are Gemmipop, Kirsteen and Hannah. Congratulations! x}

I love paper cuts! What an incredible art. Can't imagine the amount of time it takes to add such detail and precision. I went to an art exhibit once of huge murals carved entirely out of paper, and it was just amazing. Thank you for sharing this!

His work is so lovely... loving the papercut keys. Wish I wasn't such a dab hand at cutting myself when it comes to scappeling! (That's not a word is it?!)
