When I think of Orla Kiely, my first thought is of the fireplace in her home, which was in Living Etc a few years ago {I noticed Zoe has scanned some photos in here.} Does anyone else remember it?

Orla Kiely
I like to think I am quite well acquainted with Orla Kiely {I've spotted her twice, once on the Eurostar, once at Midcentury Modern}, but it was a treat to revisit her website and find a few items which are slightly different from her signature stem style. The lampshade is pretty typical perhaps, {but it's yellow, and fitted in with the post} and I love the yellow wallpaper! Her clothing range is great too. The grey skirt called to me from the window of her King's Road shop {but not quite loudly enough, at £266} - I also love this yellow dress, and all of her sunglasses.

I love Orla Kiely too! That wallpaper is so cheerful. I always appreciate the unusual colours she uses.
Ahh, love that outfit! And, all her stuff is great, very cool! x
really do love her things...especially new prints like the wallpaper. i am tempted to try her perfume...have you sniffed??
Yes i do. I tried to recreate but apparently they don't create tile samplers like that anymore. Simply and striking!
Her living room among others, are shown in her "Pattern" book - do you mean her fireplace with the multi-coloured tiles in the surround - love it! I've resigned myself to full on Orla love now - there's no point in denying it!
Kelly - I haven't tried the perfume, but the scented candles are lovely, especially the fig one.
I remember it, as you can well imagine! Did I tell you that my spare room bedroom has bedcovers in the turquoise version of the lampshade material which I picked up for half price from Morleys in Tooting. V pleased with that purchase.
I am also in love with that yellow wallpaper!
I adore Orla Kiely! I have recently bought the amazing decorative throws and bedding designed by Orla Kiely. I would not hesisitate to purchase more again. The wallpaper is simply lovely!
