Merchant & Mills

Love the packaging on this oilskin bag kit {£48} from Merchant & Mills in Hay on Wye. The packaging on all of their haberdashery items is traditional and elegant - anyone need a set of leather handles? They run short bag-making courses too.

PS So, so pleased to hear that Nao's family are safe and well in Japan.

What a great shop! I love their trapeze dress pattern, too.

Since my maiden name was Mills, I can't help but agree with you, can I (wink).

I poured over their stand at the Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate last year, and deeply fell in love with this bag. But I have far too many bags to justify yet another one (even one of this beauty). So I'll have to gaze longingly at it on my computer screen.
