I often look for cute cake stands or children's prints. I love Etsy!
I do have favourite terms - I search for french industrial, antique linen, antique medical and entomology prints. I adore ebay and prefer to shop there than in the real world - much more satisfying to dig through all the oddness and then get all competitive bidding for the treasures you have found!
These remind me of a little card that I recently brought in a second hand book shop, they're so beautiful.

lately, i've been searching google images for birds, 'birds flying', and cicadas! i kind of have a thing for all things wing-ed.

Thankyou for posting this. I've been planning on getting a swallow tattoo for a few months but could never find the right image. But I love the flying blue swallow you posted and so had my tattoo done on Saturday. So thankyou for the extra inspiration!
