So, the Cambridge yellow satchel is very popular these days. (Hannah has one, creatively customised here.) But how many people do you know who have an embossed version? See an example here, available in silver, gold or blind impression at the Cambridge Satchel Company for £5 per letter. That would be my plan, were I to obtain such a beauty.I like to take things one step further. Circa. 1986, when my fashion-conscious contemporaries were sporting leather ties, I persuaded my mum to buy me a white leather bow tie. Why anyone manufactured such a thing I do not know. Cutting edge style indeed.

Love love love satchels, but for some reason I can't get my head around the canary yellow colour. Maybe I'm just boring, but I still love the brown ones... really like the Cambridge navy satchel as well!

This sort of makes me sad... I had my heart set on one back at the start of the year when caroline,no blogged about them... but since they started selling them at urban outfitters, I know 4 dif people with them. Feel like I can't buy one now :/
(Sorry that was almost a rant wasn't it... you know how I feel about yellow! Someone should tell me I don't own the colour!!)
Ok that rant past... just glanced down at the bag I have with me today... it's bright yellow and looks like a mini briefcase. (Good grief!)
We have a cherry red one, embossed with my little girls name. There aren't many Ivy's around anymore, she was made up to have something with her name on. It is two years old, used everyday for school and still looking lush.

Someone bought me a CSC satchel and got my initials embossed on it for my birthday. I love it so much and use it all the time, hopefully it will last forever!
