An early start for me - don't you love being in work by 8am? (I do.) If I had an office like this, I know I would get nothing done - a gentle summer breeze induces daydreaming, as well piles of magazines...

I spy the edge of a small chair or sofa or something.... that combined with the piles of magazines and gentle summer breeze would mean I'd get absolutely nothing done! Gorgeous workspace, puts my squashed corner of the hallway to shame!
The best times at work are very early in the day when no one else is here and it feels like a bigger office. I leave home 10 minutes early just to get a bit of that space every day!
Lovely workspace! but my opinion is - the better the place, the better the work. Especially if you're a visual person, your whole attitude and mood benefits from beauty in your surroundings. And nothing about a little daydream (or "power-nap" ;)) in between!
I know what you mean - I work from home, and friends regularly get emails from me at 6am or some other ungodly hour!
An early start means an earlier finish, though... and my brain always works much better first thing in the morning :)
Paint old floor boards and any little nook can be gusied up to look brand new. Love the shot.
I am much more productive early in the morning rather than later in the day and when I was teaching would always be the first into school - such peace and quiet!
Love the breeze you can almost feel in this picture.
xx
I totally agree, working at home and starting early is the best!
