A quick competition

A quick competition to celebrate my 600th post and distract me from the fact that a) I haven't started my Christmas shopping and b) it's snowing and my boiler has stopped working. I can't even bring myself to call someone out yet as that's accepting the worst - I'm hoping, with diminishing likelihood, that it might come back to life.

Anyway, to enter: let me know which is your favourite item from my shop, or which you'd like to win the most, and I will send you a parcel of goodies which will include it. If you are in the UK, I promise to post it tomorrow recorded delivery so it will arrive in time for Christmas. To make the Christmas deadline, this giveaway will finish tonight at midnight (GMT.) Good luck!

To clarify: if you are not in the UK, you can still enter. I just can't guarantee that you will receive the prize before Christmas. Oh, and if you don't have a public profile, please leave your email address in the comments.

Oh my gosh! You rock. Those gifts look gorgeous. It's very difficult to pick a favourite because everything's so lovely so I will say the lace tape, which I would give to my sister who needs something to seal the envelopes on her wedding invites (as they're not very sticky). Love your blog.

I have enjoyed your tape and string for some time. Its hard to choose a favorite but I's say the typewritter and lace tape :) Good luck with your broiler and stay warm!

I hope the boiler repairs itself soon - nothing worse than hearing a repairman suck his teeth before giving a large quote!
I love your Paris Polaroid postcards - but then I do have a thing about that city.

What a lovely Christmas-y idea!! I love the tooth fairy kit, and although I have no use for it now because I have no children, I dream about my children and the excitement they would have about the tooth fairy!

Jenny said...

really love the tapes. especially the owl tape, the lave tape and the wordsworth tape. hard to pick which one!

Unknown said...

It's just impossible to pick a single thing from your shop as it's all so lovely. I agree with the above two posters that one of my favourite items would have to be the lace tape. However, the notebooks with the scalloped edges just have the edge for me. Hope your boiler kicks back into action - you have my sympathy (having spent a month last year with no hot water, and ice on the bathroom windows brrrrr).

The Paris Polaroid cards! Off to Paris for my birthday in March and already dreaming about it...
Thanks again for mentioning the Shoreditch Sisters fete btw, it was lots of fun and we had a good turnout. Will post pics soon!

The tapes are all gorgeous but I think i'd have to choose the Wordsworth one, especially if it's being discontinued (I love all of them though).

This is an impossible task! For some reason, I've never before visited your shop, but I'm hooked!

To be pragmatic, I'm going to select the item I'd use the most -- the charcoal agate notebook. But I'm quite partial to the tape designs, as well!

Last winter we had no boiler so I sympathise!
There is so much lovely stuff in your shop. If I picked one thing it would be the scalloped notecards - simple but so pretty.

Heather said...

The lace tape is lovely, I also like the typewriter tape very much as well. And the wine tags! So clever! I think my favorite is the one with the bees that says "Nothing says Thank You like a bottle of wine I know nothing about." Ha ha.

A huge congratulations on the 600th post! That is a real accomplishment!

For me it would be the Paris pictures, I would lose a little bit of my soul looking at them!

Wow those gifts really look pretty!!
I´m sorry for your boiler. I hope it´ll work very soon.
Stay positive and think that christmas shopping is the most fun close to christmas :D
I really adore all your things, but I really love the "momerabilia notebook".
Your blog is very nice and cozy.

I love your shop - I can't resist stationery and I am gutted that I hadn't visited it before as I have just bought some baker's string. I think it's hard to pick a favourite but I suppose it would have to be the Paris Polaroid postcards. I am wrapping my Christmas pressies in white tissue so these would look lovely tucked under the ribbon. It's so cold - hope your boiler fires up!

JustJoan said...

Lovely shop! I'm torn between the red square tape and the 26cm white doilies. I am in the U.S., but I don't care if I receive it after Christmas just in case I win. :)

Sarah said...

Lynn,
I love everything in your shop, but the pink doilies and gold-imprinted lace cards the most.
Thanks so much for offering the giveaway!
ps: I'm in the US; I hope I'm not too late!

Wow - great giveaway! I love everything (especially the things I've already bought!) but of the things I haven't, I'd have to say the owl tape. Have a lovely Christmas. Alison x

I have been following your blog for some time now, but I'd never seen your shop! I love the typewriter tape. And the Paris polaroid cards. I have to choose one? The tapes are just sooo original, I'd have to go for that. I hope you have lots of blankets around you and a good pot of tea. It's freezing out there!

<3 Acacia notebook! Love it.

What an awful time to be without a boiler - it's icy today! Snow in December is a rare treat though; reminds me of this warming little thought, which seems appropriate at this time of year:
“It's the national addiction: warmth on chilly winter nights, innocence on Saturday afternoons, the essence of hearth, home and blissful abandon.” (Patricia Linden)
Just the spirit evoked for me by the lovely things in your shop. My favourite is the Owl tape. Congratulations on your Big Blog Benchmark!!

Natalia said...

Hello:)

I love the Paris Polaroid postcards
and from the tapes I can not even choose!!
I'm a big fan of cards and letters and I hope to win this!

Keep up the good work I can 't wait for new products:)

I feel for you regarding the boiler - it's freezing here in London tonight. Hope it realises the error of its ways soon.

Congratulations on the 600th post of a truly inspirational blog.

As for my favourite item in your shop, as others have said it's hard to choose, but if pushed I'd have to go for the 'Library' birthday card as it's so original. The 'Noted' notebook came a close second though.

Oh, the owl tape, please!! And here in northern Vermont there was a big "thump" in our house this morning, which we soon discovered was caused by the double faucet of the utility sink in the basement exploding off the *frozen* pipes under the unsealed window... Had to turn off the water main, call a plumber to the rescue, and go to work with no shower. Good luck with your boiler!!
