I just purchased very similar crates from IKEA- they come in various depths, stack into each other and wheels are additional - but fear IKEA is discontinuing the item. I use them to store binders and legal file folders (Stamp - Doodles, Dribbles and Receipts)..love these options!
Thanks Helen and Simone - those are great ideas. I have no imagination when it comes to these things!

Hi Lynne, I just found your blog today. It's lovely! As someone who recently started blogging--mine's about exploring Scandinavian food, culture, and life in general--I've been perusing all sorts of blogs, and yours has a great aesthetic.
Not sure what i'd stencil them with but I do LOVE bushel boxes - how about making a table or book shelves? http://trudiesberger.blogspot.com/2009/11/i-love-bushel-boxes.html
These are so cute! I think stenciled silhouettes of forest animals would be really sweet :)
This would be great extra storage in the Kitchen. Love!
