So, I had totally planned to go to Anthropologie's London opening tomorrow on a 'blog mission' but now my Christmas preparations (business, not personal) are getting in the way so I may not make it. Nevertheless, I still have the scoop on the new store - or rather, I can point you to those who do. Both Wee Birdy and Home Shopping Spy have been to press previews - read about their first impressions here and here. I love their innovative store styling - I wasn't sure if the Brit equivalent would be quite so creative as its American counterpart, but the vertical garden wall and hanging tea bags sound amazing!Thursday, 22 October 2009

ummmm speechless. i cant wait to visit this treasure trove. i might see if i can do a half day at work just so i can go check it out! im planning a tea party for my birthday this year and i actually thought of doing the same thing with tea bags! its so vibrant! great blog btw

The whole thing has brought me out in some kind of irrational panic... so I'm actually glad I'm not down in London, I'd probably be fighting with people in the store or something! No going sensible route and getting my little sis to go with my shopping list... and then I'll visit it later when I'm calmer and less likely to spend every penny I will ever earn!
Thanks for the heads up. This store looks divine! I might have to drag my other half and credit card there this weekend!
Gasp. I had no idea an Anthroplogie was opening in London. This may be my favourite store of all time. Can't wait to check it out.
