Photographer Jan Baldwin

As I sit in a darkening room, watching the last signs of sun fade away for the day, I feel the colours I'm swathed in are very like those in these photos by Jan Baldwin. I love the subtle lighting in these images, but there's something about these photos which makes me feel a little forlorn, as if the party's over and everyone has fled from the scene.

Love the rich, earthy colours. Perfect for when summer turns over to fall.

i see what you mean about the forlorn feeling, but at the same time the warm tones and little bit of sunlight keep you guessing as to what's either going on, has happened or is going to happen. love that :)

Hello,

I love your blog! Thanks for the links to tea shops. I would like to have my own someday. It's my "tea dream", if you will.

I'm going to follow your blog!

Peace,
Nik
