Wednesday workspace

I'm ignoring the child elements of this room (pink angel wings, the mouse cushion) but I think it's pretty special anyway. I love how the old school desk compliments the oak beam, and the accents of bright colours and pattern.

Although its rather childish, i didn't notice until you pointed out those details i was drawn to other elements first...funny how different eyes work.

Love the "foundations" of the room and can see it transitioning into a more one that has a more grown up vibe..maybe just deepening the pink to fuschia :) lol!

Your wednesday workspaces always inspire me. Do you think anyone will get mad if I set up a work space in the upstairs living room?

I simply love that desk and the colours but like you the wings and cushion would have to go. I love the beam too.

Came across your blog from the london article you wrote on design sponge. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it and have just added it to my must-read lists! I'm moving to London in a couple of months and your blog has given me a great preview of what's to come. I'm so excited!!

I love the whimsy of the room, especially the childish elements, only in how the add a balance to the decor. I think the room could use the advantage of the color that those elements add, without the childish nature.
