Imagine sitting here, in front of a huge window - this is my idea of a perfect office (with a comfy chair.) I also like the idea of the lower table to one side, to hold everything you don't need immediately but still want to have close at hand.

What a gorgeous setup! If I had a study room I would very much like to position my desk against gorgeous windows. I also adore the lamp; it just adds such a vintage feel to the lovely room.

I agree. I like a smaller desk. Less to clutter! And the window is a must!
