Style resolutions: Jackie from Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle

Today's style resolutions come from Jackie of Sweetie Pie Pumpkin Noodle. She was one of my first blogging 'friends' and I've been following her blog faithfully ever since. Jackie makes me feel really old and boring - she's always off doing fun things, such as her hectic Easter weekend, and how she just doesn't collapse with exhaustion from all that excitement, and looking after two adorable little girls, I just don't know.

Thanks Jackie for taking part - I particularly love the handbag in her fashion picks below. And I've never heard of any of the blogs she's recommended - I'm off to check them out now.

Q: What is your favourite recent design find/achievement?

A: My favorite design achievement this year is simply the fact that I feel like I am finally coming into my own and understanding and embracing what my style truly is. Blogging has greatly helped in these revelations. I've been saving tons of interiors inspiration over on my tumblr blog and it has been a great source for me to mull over the photos and find patterns emerging of what tickles my fancy as far as design goes. I was also so fortunate to have a design style "diagnosis" from Kirsten of Simply Grove, who labeled my style "Organic meets Beverly Hills" It's fun to have that little catchphrase to think about now.

Q: Do you have any design/style ambitions you want to achieve by the end of the year?

A: So many that I don't even know where to start! My whole home has been a work in progress since we moved in four years ago. We haven't got a whole lot done as far as design goes because we have been focusing on starting our family. Now that my youngest is almost a year old, I feel like I can re-focus on the little and big things I have been wanting to do around here. I'm currently working on my family room, using advice from a free consultation I won from the wonderful kelly + olive team. My next project will be re-decorating my entry, which needs a major dose of "Organic meets Beverly Hills" style! Stay tuned over at my blog for all the updates!

As far as fashion goes, I would love for this to be the year that I splurge on all the dream items that I have always lusted after. While this is highly unlikely, I'll put them out there in the universe in hopes they magically arrive on my doorstep from an anonymous donor.

A DVF dress, Chloe bag, Tory Burch tunic and flats, Alexis Bittar jewels, colorful Manolo's, and a Kate Spade caning bangle. Links can be found here.

Q: Which are your favourite style blogs?

I have a ridiculously long list of style blogs that I love. Right now a few of my favorites are: i suwanee, kelly + olive, Moodboard, and Peacock Feathers.

Thank you Lynne, for including me in this wonderful series!
