Style resolutions: Chelsea from Frolic

Today's style resolutions come from Chelsea at Frolic. She really has a style I love - I especially love looking at photos from shoots where she has been the stylist. Her blog really has influenced me to play around with flowers and their containers - I'm definitely inspired to recreate these primroses in an eggcup and daffodils in old baking tins - and make everything in my life look prettier.

Thanks Chelsea!

Q: What is your favourite recent design find/achievement?

A: I was really excited to collaborate with Elizabeth Dye, Lisa Warninger, and Myra from Twigs and Honey for a photo shoot showcasing Elizabeth Dye’s bridal collection. I felt good about what I contributed to this (prop styling + sets) and how we all worked together to create something beautiful.

Q: Do you have any design/style ambitions you want to achieve by the end of the year?

A: Create more in the way of flower arrangements. Now that I don't do it everyday, I feel like I need more practice. Also, I am determined to learn photography. I just signed up for private lessons with Lisa Warninger. I am so excited to learn from such a big talent!

Q: Which are your favourite style blogs?

A: Too many to name! I am fascinated by people's "personal brands"! Ill just share my current 3 favorites. Katy Elliott's blog, Remodelista, and Pia Jane Bijkerk's blog. (photos from Katy Elliott.)

That bridal pic is so lovely – I especially like the book pages on the wall (I think that's what they are). The bed pic looks very cosy – I would like to have that blanket now ;)

Chelsea's blog is one of the very few I make a point of reading even when I have no time to look at any others. I heart her! Great interview.
