Five Friday Faves

I'm mesmerised by Livy's latest naturalist drawings at A Field Journal.

I've told my origami expert friend to start practising in case I ever I have a need for a huge quantity of paper cranes, like those at this gorgeous but low-key wedding. More paper cranes here.

Love the lace trim on this honeymoon slip.

This post has inspired me to smarten up my daily attire. Honestly, if you saw my 'working at home' uniform, you would not be very impressed. I'm pretty certain that a slap of lipstick = increased productivity.

Tiny but cute; these cross stitch chair patterns by The Tiny Modernist.

Have a great weekend everyone! And thanks to Sophie for the Kreativ Blogger award.

I love the chair cross stitch! I haven't done a cross stitch in years (um, actually over a decade) but now I'm tempted.

Just rediscovered your site and notice you like tea shops. Have you been to Postcard Teas in Soho? Or Tea Smith?

The paper cranes are great! Maybe I should learn origami.... Also, I agree about the work attire. I can't remember the last time I wore anything but jeans to work. Time for a change, just in time for spring!

Um, iconic chairs cross stitch? I have GOT to get me a piece of that action...I have been cross stitching since I was four, and I would LOVE to make these. I'm off to see if I can get the patterns!

what a fun blog
love the concept and I too love to go through yard sales, used shops and such.
It's so fun to see creativity and history colide.
