&...

After a period of over-zealous ampersand use on my part, a friend (and professional editor) wrote to me and said, "Reading text with ampersands is like eating pasta with tiny stones in." Do you agree? I have curbed my use of them, but I couldn't resist looking for some ampersand designs on Etsy, as a silent protest against the editor's pen. Ampersand T-shirt by Ampersand Shoppe.

Vintage-inspired print by Font Supply.

Ampersand paper bracelet by Kapcity.
Birch bookend by Crows by Bows.

LOVE ampersands. I'm not ashamed to say that we designed our wedding invitation suite based solely on how much we loved the ampersand that went with the typeface we chose!

That bracelet is too cool...I'm so addicted to Etsy for jewelry lately!

Who is this person who doesn't like ampersands? Not only do they look good wherever they are, they also SOUND good. I'm thinking I might steal your 'blog post on a theme' idea as well. Looks fab.

Hello! I found your blog through Creature Comforts. :-)

I loooove the ampersand. It manages to be a graphical design & symbol at the same time.

I am javascript:void(0)longing for those book"ands"!
