Thrift stores in New York: Housing Works

In New York, there are genuine and amazing bargains to be had at thrift stores. My favourite street for thrift store shopping is West 17th Street. Housing Works has the best selection that I've seen. These Knoll chairs were auctioned online (finally sold for $623) but I have seen some great items for sale in the shops.
